The Sebel Melbourne Moonee Ponds Hotel

The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. It was convenient to have public transport nearby. The room was comfortable and homely, and we loved the fact that the TV had Chromecast built in. The facilities were clean and modern, and the staff were friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped and the rooms were surprisingly spacious. it was a great place to stay, especially for longer stays.

The noise from outside traffic was quite loud and made it difficult to sleep.

The staff were friendly and cute, and the room was beautiful and well-designed. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the whole apartment, especially the super clean bathroom. The attention to detail was really good, from the high-quality towels and bedding to the full-length mirrors and city view from the bed. The hotel's location was perfect, with a shopping center right across the street and plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The proximity to public transportation, including the train station and tram stop, made it easy to explore the city. Parking was also great, providing a secure option for our vehicle.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the modern and well-furnished building. The staff were professional and always ready to help, offering small bonuses and discounts. The location was perfect, with shops and eateries just steps away, and the train station a short 5-minute walk. It was so convenient to hop on the train and be in the CBD in just 20 minutes. Plus, the uber ride to the airport was only $25!

There were a couple of minor issues. Despite communicating that I didn't need my towels changed, they were still replaced.

The bed was comfortable and the linen smelled fresh and clean, a big plus for me. The room was well-designed with plenty of natural light, and the nighttime view from the balcony was lovely. The shower was spacious and had good water pressure, making for a refreshing experience. I also appreciated the small touches like the full-length mirror and the inward opening shower door to keep the floor dry. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped and allowed me to prepare my own meals easily. The location of the hotel was convenient, with many good restaurants within walking distance.

One drawback was the noise level, especially from the traffic on Mt Alexander Rd. Even with the windows closed, the noise could still be heard, a bit surprising. the train whistle woke me up earlier than desired.

Modern building, well-furnished, pleasant smell, optimal location near transport and eateries. Helpful staff, provided directions and bonuses. Slightly expensive but worth it for hotel-based activities.

Friendly reception, comfortable beds, great sleep, lovely area, good restaurants and shopping nearby.
